This is the collection notice for the matching feature under development. Live collection is currently off. The final service privacy policy and retention schedule need review before collection is enabled.
What you choose to tell us
Your first name, conversation topics, language, optional interests, listening style, time zone and preferred times help suggest maternal connections. You can separately opt in to race, cultural background and religion or worldview preferences. Members specify what they prefer in a Mother; they are not asked to declare their own identity. Mothers can voluntarily describe their own background for matching and their approved profile. Mothers can also provide a short introduction, welcome line and topic boundaries.
The Mother application survey
The application preview asks about lived experience, listening approach, three conversation scenarios, care commitments and weekly capacity. These screening answers are separate from the public profile preview and are intended for human review, not automatic approval. No survey answers are sent or saved online. They remain in page memory until you leave or refresh. On the review step you can download a JSON copy containing your email, profile, matching preferences and screening answers; it does not include your photo. Keep that file private. A submission and review system must be connected before real applications can be received.
What saving will mean
When enabled, signing in with an email code creates or opens your account. Your email stays in our account system. Selecting the data agreement and saving stores your profile and matching preferences in our Supabase database. We do not collect these answers while you are only trying the unconnected preview.
What stays private
Member preferences and Mother application drafts are not a public social profile. A Mother’s approved introduction and selected profile details can be published only through administrator review. Email addresses, private application answers and account details are not shown in matching cards. The current photo picker is a local preview and does not upload a photo.
How matching works
Suggestions use selected topics, language, interests and listening style. Optional background preferences can improve ordering or restrict results, as you choose. A strict match requires a matching self-disclosed description in every filled category; no disclosure does not count as a match. Different traditions and identities are not assumed to be equivalent. Topic boundaries, blocked connections, publication status and call format take priority. Preferences about time are not confirmed availability. No compatibility score is a guarantee; you choose whom to connect with.
Your choices
- You can skip optional interests, style and background details. Members can skip time preferences; the Mother survey asks for a time zone and at least one usual availability window.
- Once saving is enabled, you can load, edit, download and delete your saved matching answers from the account panel.
- Deleting a matching profile removes those saved answers; account deletion and removal of an approved public Guide profile are separate service flows that are not yet available in this preview.
- Matching consent does not sign you up for marketing.
We do not scrape your social accounts or infer health, religion, cultural background or other sensitive traits. Conversations are not recorded as part of matching.
